The Protecting America's First Responders Act proposed by Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has passed unanimously in the Senate. The legislation will change the way the Public Safety Officers' Benefits (PSOB) program calculates the benefits it distributes.
