VOICES was honored to attend the Bipartisan Policy Center's Patriot Award Ceremony in Washington, DC on September 11, which recognizes leaders who demonstrate political courage and exceptional leadership throughout their careers. This year’s honorees were 9/11 Co-Chairmen - former Governor of New Jersey Thomas Kean and former Member of the United States House of Representatives Lee Hamilton, who were honored for their inspirational courage, especially at a time when our country was faced with unimaginable tragedy. Governor Kean began his remarks thoughtfully recognizing Mary Fetchet and Carol Ashley and the other 9/11 families for their advocacy efforts to establish the 9/11 Commission. Learn More.
